One of the highlights of attending an IAJGS conference is the wealth of research databases available in the Resource Room.  This year’s selection will have something to please everyone.  There will be both subscription databases that are available at no fee during the conference and a selection of databases by category that are “free” databases.   A previous email discussed ProQuest Day—Wednesday, July 31.  This email announces the other subscription and non-subscription databases.  This is a perfect way to try out the subscription databases before deciding to subscribe!

It is best to bring with you an USB drive to make copies of any records/newspaper articles etc. that you may find of value. The links to the databases will only be on the resource room computers and their links/password/ user names will not be shared for your personal computers. No exceptions! You are requested NOT to use your own subscriptions on any of the computers accessing the subscription databases as many people will be accessing the same computers.

The following are the hours the resource room will be open:

Sunday, not open

Monday & Tuesday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Wednesday, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm  ProQuest Day
